FAQs

Can you help me create an item not listed in your product catalog? - I love the challenge of coming up with a unique item or gift for you and am always happy to help take your idea and turn into into a real item for you or a loved one. 

Can I make some changes to the designs? - As always, I'm happy to work with you to further customize any of my designs. Small changes are included, drastic changes may incur additional charges.

What type of stain do you use? - All of the stains and clear coat finishes I use are non-toxic, zero VOC, and odorless. Typically I choose finishes from https://www.ecospaints.net/ when available or a similar product.

How long does it take to ship my order? - Typically since most of my items are personalized, they are made to order. Processing time is approximately 2 weeks from receiving the order. Custom designs may take longer. If you have any questions about time frames, please contact me and I'll get you an update on your order!

The glass panel in my frame broke. Do you offer replacement glass? - In the unfortunate event that a pane of glass from your picture frame is broken, I'll happily send you a replacement for my cost plus shipping charges. 

My product arrived damaged, what should I do? - If you believe the item is damaged (severe damage to shipping container, unexpected sounds, etc.) , please take pictures of the shipping materials before opening and also the condition of the item inside. Also contact me asap so I can make it right!

I'm in a time crunch! Can I get my order sooner? - Orders can be moved to top of the production queue for a rush processing fee of 50% of the order total. Contact me about the specifics of your situation and for an updated order total if this is a feature that you would like to take advantage of. 

I think your items would make a great gift! Do you offer gift messages? - I'd love to help you make someones special event a little more special with a hand crafted gift note. If you'd like to add a gift message to your order, email me at sales@yellowbirdwoodworks.com with your order number and the message you'd like added in the package. 

I don't live in the United States. Do you offer international shipping - At the moment, I do not offer international shipping. I plan to offer sales to other countries in the future, so check back later!
